Take the Time to Recognize and Celebrate Achievements
I was blessed to have grown up with parents who lived with a “celebrate every chance you get” mentality. From celebrating every achievement to recognizing milestones and birthdays, and even having “Sunday Fun Days”! There was always a reason to draw attention to something and have fun with it. Later, after joining the workforce, I found it difficult to understand why others around me were uncomfortable with drawing attention to milestone events and celebrating them. It was such a foreign concept to so many. Since that time, I have gone out of my way throughout my career to teach others that it is okay to celebrate every chance you get! It is especially fun when you can “convert” a more reserved co-worker to recognize that it’s ok to celebrate and enjoy the ride. After all, when you work hard and are good at what you do, why wouldn’t you want to take a moment for celebration when you’ve earned it?
Hopefully, all of you are aware that Supplemental Health Care recently won Inavero’s Best of Staffing® Client and Talent Awards for superior service to our clients and job seekers. And the best part about achieving this recognition is that the results are based on direct responses from those that we serve and hire. Both our clients and talented healthcare professional’s survey results placed us higher than the industry average. Something we can all be very proud of is in knowing that less than 2% of all staffing agencies have earned the Best of Staffing Award for service excellence.
Each of you should take pride in this company-wide achievement and please know how proud I am to be a part of such an amazing collection of individuals. But, we are not done in creating and achieving new milestones to celebrate. We have achieved Best of Staffing, and if we focus on always being better than we were the day before, then we are on our way to achieving world-class status. And remember, celebrating isn’t bragging or putting ourselves above anyone else, it is simply taking a moment to recognize what hard work has accomplished.
So thank you for all that you do for Supplemental Health Care. Think about what we have accomplished together and consider what you can do to help us get to the next level. Getting better every day is part of the commitment to our clients, to our co-workers, and to the patients, we are serving. Congratulations team!
