Wrapping up Our Season of Service
Throughout the month of December, Supplemental Health Care has been celebrating a “Season of Service,” through our partnership with Ronald McDonald House and other charities across the United States. As healthcare professionals, I know you are already giving of yourself each day by providing amazing care with compassion to those in need. With that in mind, I must say how proud I am of the efforts our employees have put forth this season. From our Kansas City office helping to decorate their local Ronald McDonald House, to the Seattle office helping their local Ronald McDonald House sort food donations, to the Atlanta office donating and cooking breakfast for the families at Ronald McDonald House. Our Dallas office hosted a bake sale to raise money for their local Ronald McDonald House and our Oklahoma City office collected baby supplies to donate to their local Ronald McDonald House. Stories like these have been taking place in locations nationwide all month.
In addition to our partnership with Ronald McDonald House, some of our local offices have continued their commitments to other charitable organizations. Our office in Buffalo collected 18 boxes worth of toys for Toys for Tots. Our Dallas office donated coats, socks, hats, and mittens to homeless children in the Dallas Independent School District. Members of our Fort Worth team continued their holiday tradition of adopting a child from the Fort Worth Independent School District Angel Tree. Our Chicago office and our Fairfield office teamed up with clients to provide holiday activities for their patients. Our Dayton and Cincinnati teams got together with the Austin Landing Charity to make a meal, make a difference.
It is this spirit of caring that makes Supplemental Health Care such an inspirational place to work and I want to thank everyone who has volunteered their time this season. From all of us at Supplemental Health Care, enjoy the rest of the holiday season and have a wonderful new year!
