As more states enact the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) legislation, travel nurses have more options for new assignment destinations.  Not that planning a travel assignment to any previous non-compact states was impossible, but admittedly it is easier when the state you are going to be working in is part of the compact.

One of the 25 original Nurse Licensure Compact states Kentucky is also participating in the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).  Taking an assignment there is a good idea no matter what the season, but if you are in the mood for sightseeing and adventure it is time for an assignment in the “Bluegrass State.”
